Aljazeera recently reported about the travails of Nigerian students in Ukraine who scramble to leave the country before the war intensifies. Before this time, several students have taken to social media platforms to decry the poor treatment they've received during this time. On Twitter, they used the hashtag #AfricansInUkraine to provide real-time updates of their movements.
Twitter user @nzekiev, was one of the prominent students on the hashtag. He posted real-time updates of their journey from Kyiv, all the way to the Polish border. In one of his tweets, he posted a video, stating that Africans were not being allowed to cross the border by the army and the police.
